Numbered 27/125, titled, and signed, all in pencil. 6 1/2 x 23 3/4 inches (plate), 8 5/8 x 26 1/2 inches (sheet), Framed to 11 x 29 inches. In very good condition with some tape residue, verso, not affecting the recto. Urbach was born in Poland in 1940. He and his mother survived in a concentration camp, and emigrated to Columbia. It is likely that this work, which probably dates from the 1950s or 60s, with its Spanish title, was executed there. Urbach later moved to New York where he is known as a painter. Is work is in MoMA and other institutions.
