Unlike the more frequently seen single volume issue (same publisher and date, same slipcase, but five volumes in one, with DJ) this issue has a separate volume for each Part (Jerusalem, Galilee and Lebabnon, Judea and Jordan River, Samara and Idumena, and The Desert), and the volumes were issued without DJs. Although the text does not address the lithographs as collectible prints in the manner of a catalogue raisonne (sizes, issues, edition sizes, papers, etc), it is still very valuable as a reference because it quotes from Roberts'notes about the locales of each plate.
