Worked on two aluminum plates with crayon. Printed on Barker handmade paper by Mark Stock in Los Angeles, published Gemini GEL. 28 1/2 x 37 3/8 inches, 725 x 950 mm. In very good condition. Hockney met Christopher Isherwood and Don Bachardy when he was their neighbor in Santa Monica, CA. He painted the two in their living room at 145 Adelaide Drive in 1968, and later used the same material to do this lithograph. The relationship of Isherwood and Bachardy is portrayed in the film, "Christopher and Don, A Love Story."
