Quarto, unbound sheets and plates loose as issued in two folders, and housed in a chemise and slipcase, both of gray paper covered boards. The first folder with half-title, title, Justification page, 15 pp. text in English, French and German, and 28 single or double page woodcuts, each tissue-guarded within its own folder, on the front of which folder is printed a title in English, French and German. The second folder contains an extra suite of the woodcuts. Copy Number 3 of an edition of 320 copies, of which this is one of the first 25 copies containing two sets of the twenty-eight woodcuts (one printed on Arches, the other on Japan paper). Signed "Arp" in pencil and numbered "3" on the Justification page, signed and numbered "Arp - 3/25" in pencil on the folder of the extra suite on Japan paper. Sheet sizes 11 1/4 x 9 in. (28.5 x 22.8 cm). Ex collection of Nelson Rockefeller with his bookplate on the front inside pastedown of the chemise. The whole Fine except for darkening to the spine of the chemise. Rare with the extra suite.
