Tice, CLara (Amrican, 1888-1973). ELEVEN ETCHINGS. Etchings on paper, not dated, but 1930s. Each c. 6 x 4 1/2 inches on a sheet c. 9 1/2 x 6 1/4 inches. Each signed in the plate. From a book or books illustrated by Tice. Occasional marginal foxing spots, away from the images, else in very good condition. Tice studied with Robert Henri, and was a successful painter and illustrator, as well as a prominent figure in Avant Garde circles in New York. She is best known for her erotic art in the Art Deco style, of which these eleven pieces are excellent examples.
