Mauve, Anton (Dutch, 1838-1888). FOUR ETCHINGS AFTER PAINTINGS. Finely etched plates after works by Mauve. Signed in pencil by the etcher, but illegibly. Various sizes on sheets 10 3/4 x 13 3/4 inches. In excellent condition. Mauve was a leading member of the "Hague School" of realist painters. He was related by marriage to Vincent Van Gogh, who considered him to have had an importance influence on his work.
