Small square octavo, covers in green and gold silk, with paper spine label, Dust Jacket with a cover designed by Tetsuo Yamada, Cardboard slip case, and a mailing folder with Corman's name and address as the sender on one side, and the other side addressed to Georg Rapp of the publishing firm of Rapp & Whiting Ltd. Unpaginated, with endpapers, half-title reading "thirty nine poems and three etchings, frontis etching, Title page, Dedication, the 39 poems, one to a page, two etchings within, and Colophon. A careful and beautiful production, the whole Fine throughout. Sidney (Cid) Corman, 1924-2004, was an American poet and editor. His magazine, "Origins," which introduced and disseminated the work of many American poets, established him as a major figure in American literature of the mid-twentieth century. Ryohei Tanaka, born 1933, is known for his sensitive and detailed etchings of Japanese landscapes and architectural subjects.
