Oblong quarto. cloth-backed pictorial boards, patterned glassine dust jacket, slip case, pictorial endpapers, tissue guarded illustrations in-text and 13 screenprinted plates after original works by Wheeler. The Book and Slipcase Fine, the fragile Jacket with a ragged bottom edge and a small loss at the bottom of its spine. The book is scarce for an edition of 513, suggesting that it may not have sold well, and that the bulk of the production was lost or destroyed. Steve Wheeler was affiliated with the Indian Space Movement, and his work shows the influence of Northwest Coast Indian Art. He was friends with Will Barnet, and we have seen a copy of this book with a presentation inscription to Barnet. Barnet's Book "Go-Go" was issued by the same publisher, and is advertised on a page in this book.
