Signed by Dine in pencil and numbered 76/90 on the Justification Page at the end. Elephant Folio, bound in cloth, and with a cloth slipcase, with Title, Poem by Sappho translated by Jim Dine, Justification Page, and 40 intaglios in black and white, each with loose tissue-guards, printed on Zerkall Litho paper. This book was part of an extended project Dine undertook in the 1980s which involved visiting several European Museums which have collections of ancient scultpture. Dine produced drawings which formed the basis of several large works, other prints, and the prints included in this work. The whole in Excellent condition, with no flaws.
