WOLLATON LODGE ATELEIR T-HARBOR, ME

Duback, Charles (American 1926-2015). WOLLATON LODGE ATELEIR T-HARBOR, ME. Watercolor in black and red/brown on paper, 1999. Titled in pencil, lower left and signed in pencil, lower right. One of the so-called "Notational Abstractions" of landscapes which Duback did in his final period after he moved from New York to live full time in his home in Tenant's Harbor, Maine. 15 x 21 inches (sight), framed to 21 x 26 inches. In excellent condition.
Wikipedia has a very good biography of this still under-appreciated artist, who was a colleague of Alex Katz, Bernard Langlais, and other artists who divided their time between New York (where Duback shared a studio with Katz and Langlais) and Maine.
