Carved and with part glazed and part matte Avanyu motif. In excellent condition, without chips, cracks, scratches or runs. Mary Cain (Blue Rain) was the grand-daughter of SaraFina Tafoya and daughter of Christina Naranjo. Her grand-daughter, the contemporary potter Tammy Garcia, continues the family's position as leading makers into the fifth generation.
