Morley-Fletcher, Frank (English, 1866-1949). WATERWAY. Color Woodblock Edition of 100. Titled, numbered 61/100, and signed in pencil. 6 1/8 x 16 1/4 inches (image), 7 1/4 x 17 3/4 inches (sheet). There is a very narroow border of tape around the edges, and very minor toning, else in very good condition. Fletcher studied and taught in England, where was influential in promoting Japanese style woodblock printing as a major genre in English art, and after 1924, he lived and taught in California, influencing many of the American artists who used Japanese techniques in printmaking.
