Tramp Art. JEWELRY BOX. Early 20th Century. Carved, incised and painted wooden box with a hinged lid, lined with padded satin, and with a mirror on the inside of the lid. 10 x 5 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches. The front and sides with well-executed chip carving in several patterns, on richly stained wood; the top with incised bars and two stars, with red and blue pigment applied to the incised areas. Some spotting to the satin, else in excellent condition.
