Estate of the Artist, Swann Galleries. In excellent condition. Barnet is quoted by Cole as follows: "This lithograph was done during the depression. A migration of miners brought Joe's family, 10 in all, to New York. I was delighted to use Joe and his sister Rosie as models." Rosie is the subject of the lithograph titled "Rosie," also from 1935 (Cole 23, Szoke 23, not in Johnson).
