Printed by John Taylor for the Federal Arts Project, the graphics division of which Kuniyoshi worked in the mid-1930s. Doyle sold a copy with the F.A.P. stamp in 2001, but this copy is not stamped. Kuniyoshi had a home and studio in Woodstock, and taught at the Art Students League summer school there. Signed in pencil, lower right, and inscribed "To Myra - Yas" lower left. Provenance: the estate of the recipient; Brock & Co. 6 x 7 7/8 inches, 152 x 200 mm. In very good condition. Scarce.
