Photo 7 x 9 1/2 inches, mounted to light card and then to heavier stock with the stamped signature "J. Clapperton" lower left, and "Galashiels" lower right. Galashiels is in Scotland. Robert D. Clapperton founded the Clapperton photography studio in the 1860s, and it remains in business to this day. In excellent condition in its original frame.
