Folio, chemise and slipcase of patterned paper-covered boards, paper folder with title containing 142 numbered pages of text, plus Title Page, Notes and Justification du Tirage, and 31 engraved illustrations of which 7 are double page, 22 are full page and 2 are in-text. In two separate paper folders are the six etchings printed on silk, and in a section integral with the chemise, with flaps, is the extra suite of the etchings. The slipcase with light wear, the rest Fine throughout.Tavy Notton (French 1914-1977) was a printmaker and illustrator. He engraved with chisels on steel, a method which involves different tools than copper engraving, including a hammer to push the chisel blade.
