Two volumes, thick quarto, buckram with leather spine labels. Vol 1: Grass Eaters; Vol 2: Flesh Eaters. 1267 pages, with 68 maps and 560 illustrations, all drawn by Seton. Seton was a very prolific writer, with most of his works devoted to fiction or Natural History about animals. This magisterial work received praise from Theodore Roosevelt and others for its accuracy and thoroughness. Some wear to the labels, else a very attractive set, Very Good or better.
