Signed "Kerr Eby, imp." in pencil. A superb impression, in very good condition. The first version of this WW I subject (G. 182, an etching, aquatint and sandpaper ground, of the same subject, was done in 1934 in an edition of 100, titled "September 13, 1918, St. Mihiel" or "The Great Black Cloud) and Eby's only mezzotint. Rare.
