Signed by the artist on the verso of the tile "SV/YB" (Sant Vicens/Yolande Baubil). 12 x 8 inches, framed, and with a typed label on the back identifying the artist and the Pottery. In excellent condition. The pottery at Sant Vicens were founded by Firmin Bauby, the artist's uncle, in 1943, and continues in operation to the present. The pottery is located on the Mediterranean, very near the Spanish border, and its culture is strongly Catalan. This accounts for the diffent spellings of the artist's name, Yolande Baubil on the label being French, and Yolaine Bauby, on the pottery's website being Catalan.
