An early and important book of the etching revival, influenced by the French "Poemes et Eaux-Fortes," and the precursor of the many large format etching albums that followed. Edgewear to binding. Bellows' plate, "The Path" has been replaced with a copy from another edition of the book in slightly smaller format. There is foxing to plates resulting from the tissue guards, else Very Good.
