Dine, Jim (American, born 1935). PERSIMMONS. Ink and was drawing on parchment, 1957. Signed in pencil within the matrix of the image, right center, and inscribed on the back of the frame "Jim Dine/1957/Ohio University/Athens Ohio." 10 1/4 x 7 inches, framed to 15 x 11 3/4 inches. In very good condition. Dine reeived a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Ohio in 1957. He stayed on for an additional year to make prints, before moving to New York in 1958.
