Titled and signed, in pencil. 9 x 11 inches inches (plate), Framed to 15 1/2 x 17 1/2 inches. In excellent condition.The artist drawing, at left, is Raphael Soyer. Sal is Sal De Deo, of Ciro and Sal's restaurant in Proveincetown. Ezekiel is Arthur Cohen's son. My thanks to Spencer Keasey at Bakker Gallery in Provincetown for these identifications. Soyer died in 1987, so the etching was done earlier. Cohen was a New Yorker, who also worked in Provincetown, MA. Tiemann Place is in the Morningside Heights neighborhood of Manhattan.
