One man reads a newspaper, another a book, a woman holds a bag of groceries...on an old newspaper laying on the ground one can read the word "NEW" which may indicate the scene is in New York. The drawing has a lot strength, both graphically and in its social realism content. The influence of George Grosz is apparent.
