Kent, Rockwell. (After) JESUS AND JOSEPH. Offset Lithograph after a drawing, 1937. The drawing illustrates Joseph working on a carpentry project watched by the haloed child Jesus. Kent used the drawing as the basis for a Christmas card in 1937, and had some lithographs made, some of which he signed in pencil. This one is not signed but is inscribed, in Kent's distinctive handwriting "Drawing - Rockwell to Hans" in pencil, lower let. The lithograph is also signed and dated with the image. There was no "edition" of this work, and it appears to be quite scarce. 11 3/8 x 14 7/8 inches (image), on a larger sheet. Framed to 211/4 x 23 3/4 inches. In excellent condition. MOVED TO #14546
