PROVENANCE: Estate of Riva Castleman (Curator of Prints at NY MOMA), likely as a gift from the artist. 15 1/2 x 11 1/2 inches (sheet). Some pencil notations and adhesive residue, verso, else in excellent condition.Sanchez had a successful career in the United States as a painter and printmaker. His Centennial year, 2021, has been recognized by the US Postal Service in an issue of Forever stamps picturing some of his paintings and lithographs.
