In excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, rubs, or scratches.Yolanda Lopez de Talavera of Mata Ortiz, Chihuahua, Mexico, is the daughter of Reynalda Quezada and Simon Lopez, and the neice of Juan Quezada. She has made pottery since the 1980s, beginning with the Blackware syles made by her parents, and later moving to the creation of polychrome pieces. This progression suggests that the Serpent Ollas are from her early work.
