These are reports relating to claims against the government, and other private requests, with recommended actions thereon. The Report recounts the diminution of exports during the on-going depression and compares it to the contiuing, and increasing importation of silk during the same period, concluding that encouragement of the development of a domestic silk industry would be beneficial. b.#50. 22pp, plus tables. Committee on Revolutionary Claims. Recommendation to pay to the surviving heirs of a Revolutionary War officer amounts in respect of two loan certificates paid to the officer but never negotiated. e.#58.
