Printed in brown ink on antique laid paper with a unicorn watermark. 5 1/8 x 5 7/8 inches (plate), 11 1/2 x 15 1/8 inches (sheet). Provenance: estate of Wolf Kahn.The image puckered in the printing, else in very good condition. Wolf and Emily were Wolf Kahn and Emily Mason. Wolf Kahn taught at the University of California in 1960, where he and Emily Mason met and became friends with Oliveira, who, like them was both a practicing artist and a teacher. This is likely a gift from Oliveira to the Kahn's, and thus an interesting association piece between three artists. We don't know whether there was an edition of this print.
