In excellent condition.Porzano was a painter, draftsman and printmaker. He attended the Academy of Carrara in Bergamo, the Faculty of Architecture in Florence, and also studied in Genoa. He settled in Rome in 1959, and worked there for most of his life. His work was exhibited at the Rome Quadrennial and at the Venice Bienniale. His ink drawings of friends or of people observed on the street are always skilled and frequently, like this one, very insightful in conveying the personality of the subject.David M. There is a 1972 recorded interview with him for the Archives of American Art in which he discusses his collecting and support of the arts.
